“Gone are the days of complex 10-step skincare regimen, it has become clear that millennials are looking for quick and effective solutions in their skincare, and Olay Retinol24 aims to help them streamline their night time routine. Retinol products have gained a reputation for being harsh on the skin, but that is simply a blanket answer that does not apply to every formula. Q&A about Olay Retinol24 range:

#1 What is the difference between Olay Retinol24 and other Vitamin A / Retinol products?
Olay Retinol24 is designed and formulated ensuring stability and effective delivery of Vitamin A actives into the skin. Olay Retinol24 uses Retinyl Propionate which is a form of Vitamin A- it’s milder, less irritating on skin.

#2 I heard Retinol/Vitamin A is irritating to skin, will Olay Retinol24 cause skin irritation? Suitable for all skin types?
Olay Retinol24 products are safe for use by all consumers. Olay Retinol24 uses Retinyl Propionate which is a form of Vitamin A, its milder/less irritating on skin, however, there can still be some consumers who might experience skin tingling, burning, redness or peeling effect at the beginning or when they just started using the product. All these are normal reactions to Vitamin A. If it’s your first time using a Vitamin A product, we recommend to gradually introduce product into the skin by using it 1-2 times a week for the first 2 weeks and slowly building up to normal usage thereafter,

#3 Can breastfeeding or pregnant mommies use Olay Retinol24 products?
All of our products are safe for use by consumers including pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, we don’t suggest pregnant and breastfeeding women to use Olay Retinol24 since the skin becomes more sensitive during pregnancy and using Vitamin A might be an unpleasant experience. Separately, we suggest that you also consult your doctor.

#4 I want to try Olay Retinol24, which of the 3 products should I use? Should I use all 3 Retinol24 products together?
Olay Retinol24 contains Vitamin A which is a potent ingredient, they do not need to be layered & they do not need to be used in regimen to achieve greater results. We’ve designed each individual product to provide visible improvements in fine lines, smoothness, brightness and firmness. We therefore recommend that you only choose between Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Serum OR the Olay Regenerist Retinol24 Night Moisturizer. If it’s your first time to use a Vitamin A product, we recommend to gradually introduce product into the skin by using it 1-2 times a week for the first 2 weeks and slowly building up to a normal usage thereafter. If you are interested in an eye cream, then you can choose Retinol24 Eye Cream and use it on its own or add in your current regimen. It is also ok to use Retinol24 Eye Cream along with either the Retinol24 Moisturizer OR Serum, if you’re skin can tolerate.

#5 Can I use Retinol24 with another moisturizer or another Retinol treatment?
We do not recommend applying two retinol products at the same time. You can, however, use Retinol24 in combination with another non-retinol product. For best results, apply Retinol24 first then follow with your other moisturizer. You can opt for Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream.

#6 Can Olay Retinol24 products be used in the morning?
Olay Retinol24 range is designed to be a night skin care. However, it is still safe for you to use during the day, but we recommend using it with Olay Regenerist Whips with SPF25 or your preferred UV sun product.

(Review) Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Range for my Dry Skin

Hello loves, its been 5 months since my last update in my blog and I am very happy to share with you this skincare range from Hada Labo. Its their latest Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Range, just what my changing skin needs. After labor, my skin was really dirty and random pimple comes and goes. Definitely redness and tightness with once a while face washing in between (whenever I have a 5 mins breather, I'll go wash my face or whatever). So I am really happy this was sent in time to save my face, however, reviewing it after two weeks of continuous usage seems impossible. I can hardly wash my face 5 times in a week so ya. So sorry for the delayed review!!!!

Before I share with you what I think about it and my routine with it, here's some info you'll need to know about the line.

~~~
About:
Pretty PR packaging.
The Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating range consists of a Face Wash, Lotion, Milk and Cream. Its formulated with multiple protective soothing formula to strengthen and restore balance in the skin. The triple protection formula-
PROTECTS - Lecithin, Squalene & Shea Butter forms an invisible bionic liquid crystal as a protective film  to protect the skin against environmental pollutant and stressors in keeping the skin healthy.
STRENGTHENS & REPAIR - Phytosterols & Ceramide help to smooth, soften, strengthen and repair skin barrier.
SOOTHE REDNESS - Alpha Bisabolol & Gingerol calm and soothe irritation and redness.
The signature ingredient in this range is Hyaluronic Acid that penetrates deep into the skin to intensely hydrate and restore the skin's moisture. It is pH balanced and free from fragrance, colorant, alcohol, and mineral oil.
In a consumer test using the Hada Labo+ Sensitive Hydrating Cream on sensitive skin with skin redness, a significant reduction in redness and irritation is seen within 4 hours of application.
Packaging:
All are plastic packaging. Except the cream packaging looks more expensive with a glass-like look. Easy to dispense tube (All). But if there's a spatula for the Cream than it'd be awesome for hygienic reasons.
Texture & Scent:
A very natural mild scent that dissipates shortly after application.
Cleanser is a creamy and light texture that bubbles little and easy to wash off leaving a clean canvas for after skin care application. Lotion is light and runny with a milky color that absorbs quickly into the skin. Milk is white cream color that is easily spreadable and feels like a light moisturizer. The cream is gel-like that absorbs into the skin quickly yet feels light and definitely perfect to be used under makeup.
These are all the textures.
All have a natural scent that dissipates after a while.
#1 Cleanser is creamy like its name and lather very little.
#2 Lotion is runny with a barley-like color.
#3 Milk is like lotion texture. Easily spreadable and don't feel thick.
#4 Cream is gel-like texture. Feels moisturized but light. Suitable to be used under make up.
How-to:
Use the Cleanser > Lotion > Milk > Cream
Thoughts:
After months of really using the whole series, I really love the whole line. The cleanser works well by effectively cleansing without stripping the face natural oil. After patting dry, my face does not feel tight or whatsoever. Lotion I drop a few droplets on my palm, and pat all over my face. Milk I will warm them a my palm and massage in an upward motion, leaving a more refreshed and relaxed feeling. It takes a little while to sip in leaving a smooth canvas. The cream is a unique gel formula that suits day and night use. For much drier skin or in winter places, add in a few drops of oil would suffice. Overall, I love that my changing skin condition loves it. It always calmed my skin after, especially on a humid day. After being a mother, I do my skincare more slowly and each step of lotion, milk and cream I will just massage them in an upward motion. It feels amazing after! Cleansing my face and completing with the other three steps is just a bliss before I continue doing my chores and take care of baby.
I also had my mom use it when she's over at my place. She told me her skin feels nice and not tight. She love that all the scent of the product in this range are natural and scent is no longer detected after application.
FYI:
My skin is dry-to-combi skin with mild sensitivity.
My mom's skin is dry and mature with more sensitive skin.
This is my before-after. Face looks much refreshed. ^^
Will I Re-purchase?
YES! A range that soothes my skin and no sensitivity for both my mom and me.
