If you have been following my recent posts or IG, you may know that I have been taking a TCM prescription for a month plus for body regulation purpose. It has been extra 'heaty' on the inside thus breaking out is unavoidable!
In my Althea Bare Essentials review you will know that I broke out at Day 10 of usage due to my 'heatiness' of the TCM prescription. In short, Althea Bare Essentials are nice to use if I had a more normal skin and not breaking out. It is good to note that I will shift back to the Althea Bare Essentials series when everything has dry down & also to increase my healing and scar lightening process. ^^
Anyhow, there are various factors and stressors that may cause one to breakout. So it is important for you to trial and error and find the right product for your skin!

Overall Thoughts:
Its a routine I will only use when my pimple/acne visit me. It has a good soothing effect which I like as you can see in my after 1 wash comparison pic. I have been incorporating these two items with my skincare routine for the past near 2 weeks. Current skincare routine are my oldies. The only downside is that the alcohol scent and content puts me off.
