Smelly-No-More to the Rescue!

Hey guys, sorry for being ineffective for more than a week. I have been resting after returning from a family trip that was all about visiting my sister and shopping. Shopping like Crazy. Real C-R-A-Z-Y!!! I swear. I guess my energy loss from shopping and all have just replenished. ;)

Okay. This post now. This is a very personal post for me. I would hide it under a rock and if possible, I would drown it together inside a safe and let it be under the deep blue sea. I'll do that later and tell you my secret now. "A secret not even a psychic can decode it," my 15-year old brother taught me. Lol. *turn over the rock for the last time* Erm. Today's blog will be about my underarms. *head in hole*

Back when I was a child I would hate my underarm, my sweat. BO to be exact. Hmm. As I grew up, I realized that although I may not have the choice in choosing over an active or not so active sweating glands but I do have the choice in choosing what steps to take in preventing a "smelly armpit". Over the years I have been trying out various brands of deodorant especially in helping me to combat dark underarms and also the odor. At one point of time I do surrender in giving more tries as the deodorants I've tried were either less efficient, that is, I will only smell nice temporarily, or the whitening of the underarm just don't happen. That is one main reason of my low self-esteem. I am constantly conscious whether I 'smell' or not. And then I have developed this skill:

You know how people have "Eye of the Eagles", "Ear of the Elephants", etc.
I have The Dog Nose (I just noticed it recently. Lol).

###dog sneeze pic###

In short, I am thankful for friends and family who do not complain too much to me about my BO yet think of ways to help me combat it. Thank you!!!!

Fortunately my sister introduced me to this magical salt stick: Smelly-No-More! Initially I was in doubt cause it's just a stick without any form of smell that could mask my odor if I were to sweat. And secondly there is no other function like whitening of the underarm that I am concerned of. Finally I bought the small salt stick of 60g (RM16.90) on 3rd January 2013.

It is worthy as it does what it says! My BO is lowered by A Lot. I am so much more at ease when I go out. I do not have to worry when I sweat. I love it's effectiveness. Not to sound too gross but I have noticed that my underarm aren't that smelly (or less smelly per se) anymore even after I have sweat. *cheers to the creator of this magical salt stick!*

This stick definitely did helped me overcome my smelly issue! It is my must - have throughout the year and the many more years to come.Maybe I should stock it up? Lol. No no. Not doing that. Gotta use them before it expires. Would definitely buy the bigger salt stick when my small one is gone. ;)

Pros (as stated on packaging) :
(1) Anti-bacteria & eliminates odour
(2) 300% more effective thaan commercial deodrant
(3) Hypo-allergenic
(4) Alcohol-free
(5) Non-sticky

Lol. Actually, I just got the bigger stick this year. Very recent. On 07-07-2014. Love it. It's Rm 24.90 for 160g. Very affordable.

How to use (as stated on packaging) :
After a bath, wet the top surface of the stone with water and apply on affected areas, i.e. under arms, feet, etc.

Glad that the small stuck can last for a year plus. I stopped using it coz it scratched my underarms. Cause of scratch? = I dropped it. So the more I used it the more the cracks sharpen and you know what happens when I used it. *gotta sayang (pamper in English) my underarms more now. So, please please DO NOT DROP IT! Sad to say, I've dropped my new big magical salt that I have just bought. No choice. Luckily this time the effect of the fall wasn't that great. *fingers cross that it'll not sharpen with the ticking time*

Item: Deodorant stick
Weight: 160g
Price: RM24.90
Scent: -
Rating: 4.5/5
Why?- Does what it says. Thank you stick for helping my years of BO issue. My BO has been such a relentless ghost.
Con: need to find an alternative to whiten/lighten my dark underarms & once I use too often, I find it less effective (I don't know why it happens to me. Does anyone else experience the same thing?)

That's all for now.  Thanks for reading!

HELP my Sensitive Scalp !!!

Back on that day, I went to The Color Shop (at Palm Mall, Seremban) initially planning to have a scalp treatment. The last time I had one, I was given 'tansan' treatment from number76 @ North court, Midvalley, with a friend of mine.

Upon arriving, I told the person what I wanted to do with my hair. She had my scalp inspected.

"Flaky too!"
"Less seafood."

I was in terror. Shock would be a better word. Hmm. I was never told or even knew myself that I had a sensitive scalp.

Why me? I know I may be allergic to some little stuff but never did I knew that I have sensitive skin scalp since both my parents have good genes. I mean, they don't have any kind of allergy or sensitive scalp or whatsoever. Hmph.

Then blah blah blah. She  recommends me to do a treatment using the Kerastase liquid and an added powder packet for soothing my irritated scalp. She don't mind me dying my hair and cut but she did stressed to do the treatment. Since I am not working now, there is no reason for me to spend money like water. So, I have decided to skip the treatment for now and go ahead with cutting and dying my hair for the coming HK trip with my family. ^^

Firstly, I had my hair cut and have a fringe made.
Next, a "base for scalp before dying process starts" was given. I like it, it was cooling for the scalp.
Since I have a three-layered-coloured hair, she needs to dye my hair in three parts. So long but worth the wait! ^^ Thank you!

Time to wash off after all the sitting.
^^ And I was given a less than 10 minutes mask or treatment thing for my dry hair ends. Thank you again! You are so nice and professional!
Last but not least after drying my hair, I was given this "Vacation Haircare for color-treated hair" for FREE!! Plus a sample packet of shampoo for my sensitive scalp.

My FREE stuff for my  beloved & well-tamed hair <3

for item:

(1) Scalp Shampoo
Smell- Aritificial "after-hairdo-at-saloon" kind of smell (Don't really know what or how I should describe it and that's the closest I can get to tell you guys)
Color- Blue
Effectivity- Lather not that much but gives a cooling effect upon application and really does soothe the scalp.

(2) Vitamino Color Shampoo
Smell- Aritificial "after-hairdo-at-saloon" kind of smell (Don't really know what or how I should describe it and that's the closest I can get to tell you guys)
Color- Pink
Effectivity- It lathers quite easily. It does help my hair shine and retains its color.

(3) Vitamino Color Masque
Smell- Aritificial "after-hairdo-at-saloon" kind of smell (Don't really know what or how I should describe it and that's the closest I can get to tell you guys)
Color- Pink
Effectivity- A little goes a long way. Just take a 20-cents size and it's sufficient to moisture my dry ends.

Repurchase or not?
Hmm, I will definitely buy the scalp shampoo again since it had made me much relaxed after the shampoo hours. As for the color shampoo, I don't think I need it as the hair stylist said that I only need to use this color shampoo continuously for 7 days after I have my hair untouched upon dying it for the first 2 days. So yeahh, I trust her professionalism and don't think I will need it for the time being. But, I will buy it the next time I dye my hair again as it really did a goood job in maintaining my hair color. The sample bottle of shampoo and masque definitely lasted longer than 7 days.

Pictures below are captured by Casio ZR1200 with no filter at all.

My hair on the first day (04082014) captured in the bedroom at night :

Pardon my bare face and tired eyes. Love the tresses just styled by the hair stylist ^^ Thank you!

My hair on the sixth day (09082014) captured in the car with natural sunlight (without much exposure of sunlight) :

Too lazy to make up or whatsoever. Just posing for fun since passengers like me have nothing to do at the moment, EXCEPT for playing games with the phone or selfie moments with the phone/camera.
My hair on the ninth day (12082014) captured in the car with some exposure of sunlight  :

Close up this time. Pardon my uneven skin tone. Let's focus on my hair color for now ^^ Thank you.

An update of my hair color will be shown in my upcoming post for my HK trip.

Stay tune and thank you to my hairstylist! ^^

I have been asking and thinking to myself what birthday gift I should request from the love since he does not know what to get for me.

After some time of thinking after my eve of my birthday, I have finally settled on the choice of present that I am sure I will not regret on.

I was more affirmed of my decisions after reading Cheesie's blog on the user friendly camera by Casio ZR1200. Big love and have been waiting for it like crazy.

Since I have requested it back on my birthday in March, we didn't really have the time since I was busy with my last semester of my degree life. So I told him to get it for me when I am over with my semester to celebrate my life free from studying.

There was no stock of this baby when we went to the camera store in mid May.

That toy up there is Casio ZR12000

The person asked me to leave my number once the stock has arrived. He said that it would be here by mid June. Tick tock tick tock. Still, there was no call.

My baby was glad that my present was delayed because he had time to save up to buy it for me. Thanks baby for all the patience and pamper session no matter I need it or not. Love you banyak-banyak. Cherish for more time spent together.

So we stumbled into another camera store on 23062014.
Thankful that they have the last white camera left. ^^
Lucky me but pity his pocket. Hehe. What to do. He already promised me.
However, I got to buy the extended insurance for my camera myself as he don't believe the camera needed so. It's only RM99 for a 2 year extension instead of RM149 the salesman said. So yeah, I got to have it as I love to take pictures no matter where I go.

Here are some photos I took with the new toy:
(No additional editing apps used other than the filter already in the camera)

Love love love the ART SHOT

(  dreamy huh? :)  )

(can you see the bling at the side of the dahl?)

(altogether there are 12 levels; for skin with a few acnes that are not that serious, go for 4 or 5. If you go for 8 or more, the shot will be blurred.)

My skin here looks so so pretty right? I am not praising myself. I just remember my little sister compliment me that when she saw this picture. Behind the camera lens though sadly, my skin isn't flawless at all. There were plenty of acne scars and once a while pimples pop out and I can't control it. *sigh*

SUNSET (under the Best Shot)
Stay tune for the coming post that I will link to it soon. So sorry for the wait. XD

This is the main reason that tempted me real seriously in getting the camera.  I saw that the camera is able to take an OOTD picture just by standing 3 feet or something (I am super unsure about the distance thing) away from the mirror. Hmm. Unfortunately I have not explore this function yet due to the super bad Internet connection I have ever since semester break. Too bad. Okay, this week. This week I shall explore it. *motivated look* :)

Belle Madame Stretch Fiber Double Eyelid Tape

This is the product that I have purchased on 13.07.2014

I bought it at Sasa outlet in Palm Mall, Seremban.

Brand: Belle Madame (BM)
Product: Stretch fiber double eyelid tape
Price: RM17.90
Quantity: 70 pieces
Weight: 40g
MFG date: (YY.MM.DD): 13.07.09
Shelf life: 5 years
Ingredients: Methicone, Silica, Dimethicone, Ethylene/Vacopolymer

1. Clean the eyelid area first.
2. Pick up a tape and pull a tape around 3-5cm.
3. Stick a tape on your double eyelid and hold a tape along your eye radiation.
4. Use the Y-shaped fork to fine-tune the eyelid.

That's the fork and eyelid stretch fibre

A closer look

It's attached to a not-so-sticky pad

Getting ready!

Pull and getting ready for it

Yeah! No more days of uneven eyelids ^^

Thoughts & Repurchase?

It's sticking ability is ok. It does last half the day and more but not that easy to adjust the eyelid line. I would prefer the AB Stretch fibre for double eyelid due to the slightly easier adjusting ability somehow. It's a Taiwanese brand.  Of course, it is much more expensive, the last time I bought the AB stretch fibre it was on promotion for about Rm35 or Rm40-ish.  If it's not on promotion I think it'd cost approximately Rm 50ish for 30 pairs or 50 pairs. Plus, when removing it off my lid, it isn't hard thus does not increase the chances of having sagging lids at an early age.

I would definitely repurchase this Belle Madame Stretch fibre Double Eyelid Tape for RM17.90 with 70 pieces. So much more worth it since I wanted it the first place for having a more permanent even double eyelid.  ^^

+ sticking ability is good
+ not hard to remove
+ does job much better when comparing to normal eyelid stickers

- a little hard to adjust , maybe I am not so used to it yet.
