NATURE REPUBLIC UV Lock Flower Water Gel Sun

Applying sunscreen is a must in one's  daily routine (no matter you are going out of the house or not!)

This time I have tried this sample packet from koreadepart.com

This sunscreen has SPF30 PA ++ which is fine for me as I am not constantly under the sun and become a toasted piece of bread at the end of the day x.x

No one wants to be a burnt bread since Asians are taught that "being fair is beautiful". Once darkened, you need time to treat and be fair again.

This is the packet of sample

Texture?

Gel-like & creamy (white) which is what I like. However it is sticky after application. Hmph. It is not that sticky after some time later.
3/5

Pores can breathe?

Yeap, after some time. Love it!
3/5

Spreading ability?

GREAT!
4/5

Absorption ability?

GREAT too!
4/5

Scent?
Floral/fruity and powdery mix. I think scent is a little strong upon applying the whole face.
3/5

Overall rating:
3.4

P.s. Do follow this saying that I found online (I follow this too!) ,

Nice saying right??? ^^
Choose the kinds of products depending on what you want for as the end product on your face/body (as well as your preference of the product).

LENNOX Firm Up+ Plus+ Bright Collagen

Who says to be pretty you must use money???
I think that with money, you definitely can look pretty instantaneously (faster than natural remedy I mean!!) and effortlessly.
But...
Since I have limited excess to money
(taking a break from studying and not getting the job I wanted so I am jobless and rotting my brain ==> no salary/pocket money...hmph)

My reaction when I have no salary/pocket money (Image not mine. Taken from Mr. Google)

I always opt for natural ingredients already found in my kitchen.
Yes.
Kitchen!
I once tried egg mask with my younger sister. The white for moisturising and lifting effect while the yolk for oil controlling purpose (for OILY skin!!! People with dry skin should skip the yellow part!)
Yes, there are more natural remedy that you may have heard and/or tried but I will try another and blog about it later :)

I am sure that many of you have heard the phrase that goes like this,
"There are no ugly women. Only LAZY women."
I first heard it from a Taiwanese actress, 大S aka Barbie Hsu.
Totally agree with it, but I have ZERO commitment sticking to my skin care routine on a long term basis.

Sad case. Weak willed to stick to my routine. (Image taken from Mr. Google)

This year I am more constantly motivated by my just turned (this year) beauty queen in the house- my eldest sister who looks the youngest in the house.

She used to only have like a 1-step beauty-lazy routine, that is, to cleanse her face.
Now her routine have already increased to approximately 7 or 8 steps (excluding extra steps like masks and scrub). Be ready to be impress by her steps in her skin care routine! ^^

So other than using natural ingredients, buying items from drug stores (cleansers, toners, serum, moisturisers, masks, etc), I would buy COLLAGEN too. Yeap, I've burnt my pocket money whenever I have it and would skip meals to save up for that. *shoot me*

After using Michelle Lazar's cleanser, my skin definitely have brightened. However, it cannot stop my pimples from popping out.
Currently this is how my face looks like
(taken on 21062014)

Okay. Analysis over. Bad right my skin! Hopefully this new baby would help with the good reviews that I have read from other bloggers. ^^

Lemme introduce you to my new Baby,

Tadaa. Tried this collagen baby before? :)

I was attracted to buy it as there was promotion going on in Sasa store in the newly opened Palm Mall, Seremban. Normal price is RM145 for 25 bottles.
Now it is RM145 for the first bottle and top up RM1 for the second bottle. OMG. I told bf that I would be so so sorry for myself if I don't get it now!

So I got it on 21062014.

Shall continue with it in my next blog. Stay tune.

Thanks for reading.
Xoxo.

Menya Musashi

We went for this F&B store in One Utama. (24062014)

Non-halal !!!

How we got there?- Ms. V wanted Korean food for dinner and Mr. E's friend highly recommended this place.

Surprised and Irritating?- We were all irritated as the person shouts or something almost occasionally & suddenly. No offense! I don't mean to offend the work culture or something but honestly it really did interrupted our conversation. The noise covers my voice when I talk thus I have to pause in between our talk. Definitely NOT a GOOD venue for any catch up session!!!!

The cover of the menu.

Orders?-
Me- Shiro Musashi

Shiro means onion flavoured oil.
I find it a rather normal dish. Probably I am craving for something spicy too but I am having ulcer at that time so I try to avoid spicy food. Couldn't say no to fried food since I didn't have it for the whole day. Glad that I didn't pass for the snacks and dumpling as they were definitely better than my noodle.I didn't finish the whole dish as I don't really like the meat (fatty!) and probably I am not a fan of this kind of food. Hmph.

Ms. V- Aka Musashi

Aka means home made Musashi chilli flavoured oil
Ms. V loves her dish. Overall speaking, she says the ramen taste good however it is not as divine as she has had expected. She loves loves loves the soup as the salt and spicy taste is well-balanced as she liked it. The  pork was fatty too, didn't eat it. >.<"

Mr. E- Kuro Musashi

Kuro means special oil combined of fried shallots and garlic flavoured oil
Mr. E don't really find his dish special but he managed to finish it as he was very hungry. Lol. Not much of a comment here as he finds the soup okay and overall it wasn't that good. And, the pork was tooooo hard.

*the one not ordered is called Ki which is home made Musashi curry oil*

Musashi costs RM26 w/o tax and service charges.
Musashi contains 2 chasu, Ajitama 1 pc, Spring Onion, Leek, Bamboo Shoots, Black Fungus, Asparagus, Chilli Threads.

Each dish we ordered came with the complimentary snacks. Its quite nice. I like the snacks

The dumplings that Mr. E ordered was nice too. It was stuffed with meat and veggies. Yum yum.
Everyone loves the dumplings too.

Overall, we only recommend Aka Musashi IF you are dying to try the food here. Also recommend the fried dumplings and also the complimentary snack, so far. That's all. What would you recommend? ^^

Lastly, I would like to end the post by sharing an interesting milk which tickles my tastebuds.

I love the milk which is different from the normal ones that I drink. Strawberry versus Banana, which would you go for?

I go for the Banana. ♡

I think of Cheesie when I wanted to buy this. Did she instagram the picture before?

That's all.

Thanks for your time for reading this.

Xoxo.

Michelle Lazar Deep Pore Cleanser

Have you heard of Michelle Lazar?

Have you used any of its product?

The products of Michelle Lazar are manufactured in California, U.S.. Most of their products are manufactured and distributed in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and China. The products include health, hair and skin care products. For more information, do visit their page.

I have purchased my first two cleansers from the brand of Michelle Lazar on 14th April 2014 and did not have a particular high expectations for the product as I constantly have break outs and I do not really get the priviledge of enjoying an acne-free skin for 1 whole month (I would be a  vegetarian if my skin is clear for that long!). The most that I get to enjoy such clean face was a week max. I honestly do admire people with such clear faces. Such a bliss!! So this is the product below:

This is me looking as "pek-chik" as possssible taking the ugliest picture with ZERO editing apps on 15th April 2014 before washing my face for the first time with the two cleansers.

Sorry to myself for showing my ugliest pic with my hair all held back and away from my face. Argh. That's pimples on my forehead. Some are about to pop out but some haven't.  Uneven skin tone too. Hmm. (Picture taken by my sister's Nokia phone that has great spec especially for taking pictures)
The angriest pimple alive!!!! (Picture taken by my sister's Nokia phone that has great spec especially for taking pictures)

I started using it on 15th April 2014. The first thing to do is to use the "Deep Pore Cleanser" which serves to clean you skin from the inside. It is gel-like. You can choose to wet your face if it is too dry for you.

1.Wet the face.
2. Apply 2 pumps of the cleanser onto the face.
3. Do not rinse off and continue to use the Facial Wash Cleanser.
4. Rinse and tissue-dry or towel-dry the face.
**basically, the 424 method is not applicable here**

My first response was, "Are you serious that I don't need to wet my face and just slap on the deep pore cleanser?"
"Yeap, But you can have some water too if it is too dry for you," the beautician said.
I was like, "Uh-okay."
So she was telling me how important deep cleansing was from the inside which would consequently facilitate the absorption of whatever products you'll be slapping on after you have washed your face.
Upon hearing that, I was dying to only buy the Deep Pore Facial Cleanser.
However she said that the effect would be optimum upon buying the cleansing wash as well. So yeah, I got two of them. And only two. I cannot afford to spend like a running tap and let the water run like crazy!!!
So I only insisted for just that only two and nothing more. They were quite pushy when it comes to sales but yeah, I am not falling for that since I already nod for the cleansing wash. Hmph. *purse hurts and cries*

So after approximately two weeks my angry pimple on my chin went down and the face was all brightened up.

*sorry 'coz I did not manage to take pictures as I was too happy enjoying a clean clean face*

My stupid pimple cycle came back after that short short shorttttt periodof clean and clear face.
*sob sob sob*
This is how my face now looks after two months of continuous use.

Nearing a month of use. That's how I look like in the image below, taken on the May 13th 2014.

Finally,  clear skin without any editing or filter. (Image taken with my Samsung Note 2, front camera) My big siser said that my cheek has brightened. *thank you* Angry pimple on chin approximately a month ago also gone :)
After 1month and 9days of using the cleanser for almost everyday, my skin is still clear. Especially my cheeks. Grateful that it (the pimples) isnt't back yet. The picture below was taken on May 24th.

Selfie with no editing but natural sun light and lippie. (Picture taken with my Samsung Note 2, front camera)

May 26th
It's supposed to be naturally flushed cheeks. Can't really see that since my phone camera isn't good. ×.× I am glad that my cheeks looks rosy and soft. Overall whatever you see in this picture, this skin, is still quite clear. Oh. Why did my pic stopped at my forehead? Yeap. An angry pimple popped out. Argh. Clear skin days over. ×.×

Basically you can see the marks on my forehead, cheeks and face. What I can say is that it does not stop my acne from popping. However, it does brighten my face, which I do appreciate much. I also like the product as it does remove make up quite easily. That saves me from bringing an extra bottle of eye and lip make up remover. Yeay! One less weight to carry when I go travel around!! ^^

This is how you use it:
1. Pump the cleanser onto cotton pads
2. Wipe on area with make up
3. Viola!!

I was amazed by it's make up removing effect. Never thought that it'll be this good.

For the picture, please visit this page by my sister.

So will I repurchase??
2.5 / 5.0

Why?
It does brighten my face but it is costly and the products can be finished quite fast. I will need to spend much more. So I think that I should scout for a better cleanser which does the brightening and clearing up of my face, thus enjoying a clear face (and also saves time to put on or not even needing to have make up on!).

That's all! Thanks lovelies for your time to read this post.
